about
You Wouldn't Know is a dialogue between the part of oneself that struggles to accept love, and as a result, is seemingly plotting against happiness. It is a dialogue in which difficult truths must be faced in regards to the nature of self-destructive patterns.
It is the second single off of MOOCH's third album, "Visions".
lyrics
Verse 1
You run around, naked and free in my mind
No other thought could make me feel fearless this time
Chorus 1
You hold me down, strictly to reign (you hold me down and take me away)
Your heavy hand holds nothing but pain (you hold me down and take me away)
Verse 2
Your shadow hides, heavy behind my eyes
Your shallow lies drown me until I cry
When I could feel it, gripping beneath my feet
I try to run but remember I can’t in your dreams
Chorus 2
You hold me down, strictly to reign (you hold me down and take me away)
Your heavy hand holds nothing but shame (you hold me down and make me stay)
Your second guess is always second best time and time again (Eyyyyyy)
You hold me down and it's simply to see the end (you hold me down and take me away)
Outro
So tell me how does it feel to be loved
You Wouldn’t Know
How does it feel to be loved
You Wouldn't Know
How does it feel to be loved in your heart
You Wouldn’t Know
So tell me how does it feel to be loved
You Wouldn’t Know
